I love getting to know innovative and interesting vendors in the wedding world. CityBird Registry is run by two ladies after my own heart, who encourage engaged couples to register for gifts that focus on experiences rather than the accumulation of stuff. Nothing wrong with a beautiful new copper kettle, but add to that a membership to the Whitney or a tasting evening at Murray's Cheese instead of another set of glass mixing bowls, and that is one fine combination.
